It’s an honour for me to have been evaluated so highly (even though I think I made mistakes in the show I created!)
Participating in this show felt quite a challenge, as I was heavily constrained by time, and I did not have many stutata/bombe da tiro to feel confident enough to participate. After all, to create this in FWsim in a way I like, it takes a lot of time and patience (if shells of shells had controlled gravity or inherited from the main launch and possibilities of staggering the explosions, it would be much, much easier!)
Another challenge I imposed on myself was to make as less new fireworks as possible and use what I already had in inventory - the Simulation Fireworks Association’s archive - just as a pyrotechnician show designer would do in real life. If there are not “3-stage ghost shell red to purple to orange” in inventory, you need to find something else. (Even though I hope that we will be able to make such shells directly in FWsim without using external tools in the future!)
Again, it’s been an honour to receive such praise for the show. But there’s still a lot of work to do to make the show look more realistic - and avoid dumb mistakes like I did, with strobing blue mines, that shouldn’t be possible to achieve in reality, aside from maybe some work by Marugo -
I will work continuously to improve the quality and the realism of future shows and the collection of fireworks. It will not be easy, and it takes a lot of research, time, a lot of fireworks viewing (both in reality, which is very difficult for me due to scarcity of fireworks show - and with videos)
