There seems to be a bug when you have a really high launch velocity for shells that the explosion location does not match the location of the ascent effect. See the attached picture for reference. This happens when you play the effect after is has already been launched, not when you play it from the start
However, it only happens for smaller shells. From my quick testing it seems to only happen only for shells smaller than 45-50mm. The smaller the shell the bigger the difference in explosion location and ascent effect location. So on a 40mm shell it is only noticeable when the velocity is 300m/s, but on 10mm you can already see it at 180m/s. If you go even lower on the velocity,
