Copying data from one show to another

A user recently asked:

I would like to copy parts of a show from one save file to another. Is this possible?

Thanks for your message.

This is possible in FWsim v3. Please follow these steps:

  • Open the first show
  • Select some cues
  • Press CTRL + C
  • Open the other show from the file menu
  • Paste using CTRL + V

When copying data like this, FWsim tries to handle the positions in the following way:

  • If a position with the same name exists in the new show, it will be used.
  • If no position with that name exists, then the position will be copied from the old show.
