Creating Effect

I am trying to create a fountain effect that is 18ft high with a duration of 30 seconds.
In the effects catalog is a uberrashungstontane that says it can’t be modified do I want to copy it
, or something like that - I get a copy and can adjust the duration but not the overall time but in the end the duration does not change either.

Of course you know i am new to this but I do not even see a template for a fountain.

Any other resources anyone can reccomend?

Play with the speed to get the hight and duration is just duration, should be fine then

I guess it is going to take me a while. I also wish my screen looked like yours. I go to tools, effect editor, select mine, and get nothing like your screen shot. lol

Hi Frank,

welcome to the FWsim community forum!

When you open the effects editor, select this template. It builds a fountain for you:

Then, click View → “Show Effect Dimensions” to show the height.

Finally, click “Eruption”. There you can adjust the speed (to get the right height) and the duration.

Hope that helps! If it’s not giving you the result you like, feel free to post a video of the real effect. Then we can give you more precise instructions.

My actual product I have is a 1.3 product that is supposed to go 24ft high and last for 30 sec
