Ex finale user seeking help

hi everyone
as a finale user who cant afford it in its new form looking at switching to fw sim but am finding it difficult any help with say firing view and editing a chain would be a good start as i only got 3 hr trail to be convinced

thanks for your message. I’ve sent you a private message with a trial extension, so you have more time to test.

The “firing view” is maybe similar to the “Table View” in FWsim. You can get the Table View through the Tools menu.

To create a chain, please follow these steps:

  1. Insert several single shots
  2. Select all of them by dragging a rectangle with the mouse
  3. Right-click and select “Chain Cues”.

You will now have a chain, and the entire chain will get only one channel on your firing system.
