FWsim Design Competition 2026

Welcome at the second FWsim Design Competition.
In the Discord you will find the rules and information what you need to join the competition.

We are a FWsim Competition and we would like to see your creativity in FWsim. With your style of music and show we would probably blow away of you’r creation. We love to see you’r show and share it with the community and outside.
Ofcourse we have some prices, before aplying for the competition read the rules and other information what you need to know.

Rules

1. You need FWsim with the version 4.3.0.21 or higher.
1. You are not allowed to use any other camera angle or change the ground.
1. The duration of the show is minimal 9 min and max 10min.
1. The show has to be a pyromusical (Show with songs)
1. Extra 5 points for using smoke.

Position Rules

Position P-01 until P-19 is for:

- Bengals / Fountains or water shells

Position F-01 until F-11 is for:

- Cakes / Comets / Single shots / Mines / Fountain / Rockets*

Position S-01 until S-05 is for:

- Shells only

But the rendering is very slow and it could take hours to upload. Can I render my entry without smoke (off) in the settings?

Thats oke but use something such as fake smoke tails for an realism effect

I agree. In addition to that when much fireworks explode at the same moment the smoke becomes to dark and ruins the show.

Alr we will remove the rule (rule 5) of using smoke but if you use smoke you get 5 extra points pure because we created this competition based on realism

Be aware we have 2 competitors yet.
The deadline sign up is monday.

If there are no more new competitors the people who joined this competition automatically will get their reward for doing their effort.

I think the low turnout is probably due to the rule no. 1 possibly many interested competitors don’t have that specific update let alone the subscription budget to have it

It is to prevent users to have a old version of FWsim, if you have bassic, creative, hobbyist or pro then it is all fine

Submission for the second FWsim Design Competition is closed.

About 2 months we will judge the compititors on their design.
The deadline to submit your show is august first.

6 - Philiphine

Old and new compititors will show you their talent.
Admire their design, get ideas, amaze their effects.
Sit back, take a drink and a snack.

1 week left until the Design competition of 2026 will start.

The designers have until the first of august the time to submit their show, after that we will watch and judge the shows together!

A little show as an opening for the competition.
A show with colours new effects, new sounds new positions and a new mindset.
A realistic fancy show, ment for the people all across the world who watch and participate in this competition.
A show as a thank you to all the people such as the judges, the people who watching and the designers.
