Using FWSim to make HDR10 Videos

Lately, I have seen a variety of fireworks videos shot in HDR10 colour format and I absolutely loved them, so I asked myself whether this was possible with FWsim. While the software at the moment cannot render this natively, it is possible to use programs such as Premiere Pro/Media Encoder/After Effects or the free EncodeGUI to convert the video into an HDR10 H.265.

The following videos are examples of what you can see with this “colour upgrade”. Note that you need a HDR10 monitor to view these. For instance, on my phone, I can see it very well, while on the PC monitor, I cannot.

Thanks for posting, looking great!

At the moment FWsim does not offer HDR10 export. Maybe in the future!
